Hello, I'm Jennifer – founder of Where are my plants and a passionate plant mom with heart, patience, and a special love for rare plants.
My plant journey started like many others: with the classics. But at some point, it clicked, and a small interest turned into deep enthusiasm. My first special plant was a Monstera Albo for €150, a huge sum for me back then. But I've never regretted it. It still lives with me today.
In 2020, my first Alocasia moved in, a very simple Polly. No variegation, but it was my first of its kind. And it's still part of my collection today. Every plant tells its own story, and some accompany me for years.
Over time, more and more special plants have moved in with me, some precious, some difficult, many challenging. I've experienced losses, had questions like: "Which way is up and down on this rhizome?"
Today I know: Exactly these experiences make the journey so valuable.
Nowadays, I grow many of my plants myself from cuttings, rhizomes, or TC plants. What was once uncertainty has now become a deep wealth of knowledge
that I cultivate with care, mindfulness, and dedication.
I usually water in the evenings, not because it's planned, but because it gives me peace. It's my moment of pause. When everything is quiet, I am completely with my plants. I see what has grown. What has changed. What needs strength.

Every plant in my shop has been lovingly cared for and carefully raised. I only sell what I would gladly have in my own collection. Whether you are a collector or a beginner, I am happy to assist you, answer questions, and help you find your plant.
